The cottage is available all year equipped for comfortable lodging during winter stays. It is a late 19th century construction which underwent a complete renovation in 2009. It is located on a typical Swedish farm property in idyllic country side setting with a an undisturbed view over pastures, fields and a small lake.

The small, infrequently trafficked, countryside road leading up to the main farm buildings of Tyttorpis going through with country side gardens and pastures. The countryside landscape in this part of Sweden has a rich nature & biodiversity and lends itself well to country side and forest walks. You will be pleasantly surprised idyllic location of Tyttorp and its small lake surrounded by cultivated fields and forest land.

On a small hillside overlooking the main farm buildings you will find traditional Swedishcountry side landscape protected by the EU sponsored `Natura 2000`program (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natura_2000) that supports the protection and preservation of Europe`s ecological assets. The hill side displays an impressive number of large juniper trees. Heather is the typical wild undergrowth and the late summer flowering period the pastures are colored lilac by them. The fauna is rich with more than 30 types of plants identified in the surrounding pastures. The 10 acre lake is can be used for a swim or fishing of rainbow salmon and crayfish. 

 

When you arrive to Tyttorp you will be welcomed by Sune and Eva. They are proprietors of Tyttorp farm since 1981. Tyttorp farm covers 360 acres of varied farm and forest land. They actively farm the fields and forests of Tyttorp and keep horses, sheep, dogs and cats on the farm.
